CHAMPS is one of 16 campus support programs for foster youth in the state of Michigan. CHAMPS seeks to increase college access and retention through direct services, outreach, and advocacy efforts and provides wraparound support services to students who have experienced foster care and/or the juvenile justice systems. Our program also works in collaboration with other academic and student support programs at Wayne State University in order to remove any barriers to achieving a bachelors degree.
